At Childwall we delight in the success of all our students. Year 11 students receive a Progress File at the end of their Year 11 studies. The Progress File Ceremony is one of the great highlights in the school calendar. More
Hollyoaks stars joined Liverpool children at their school sports day. The actors met youngsters from Childwall Sports College at Wavertree Athletic Stadium. More
Our Sports Day held at Picton Sports Centre was another great success, with students competing in many track and field events. More

Health - I am delighted that our Year 10 team comprising Lauren Kelly, Group 107 and Steven Anderson, Group 102 have won the City Council ‘Leaders Health Challenge’ for 2009. My congratulations go to Mr. Rietdyk, Lauren and Steven.

Athletics - Childwall Sports College recently sent a strong team to the City Athletics finals. Some excellent individual results included Emily Lang (Group 77) was 1st in the Shot Put and 3rd in the 100 metres. Nakita Ferguson (Group 76) was 1st in the 200 metres. Callula Dring-Gibson (96) was 3rd in the Shot Put. Many congratulations.
Recently all 220 Year 9 students took part in an Enterprise Day arranged by Miss Jacqui Maddock who is the school’s Work Related Learning & Enterprise Co-ordinator. More
On the 31st May 2009 ten Year 10 GCSE students took part in the Mersey Tunnel 10k Run. Starting in Liverpool, the race crosses under the River Mersey through the Kingsway Tunnel. More
At a Childwall Sports College Governors meeting held on 22nd May 2009 it was decided to increase the price of a student’s school meal from £1∙80 to £2∙00. This will take effect from 1st September 2009. Read more
