Why study the media?

You live in a world surrounded by Media. It affects your life daily. You now have the opportunity to explore this diverse area that is already part of your life; to understand how, why and where Media is used to communicate to a huge range of people. You will explore how all different types of Media have their purpose and how they aim to communicate including: music, television, news, film, computers, the internet and magazines. Not only will you explore the companies behind these corporations and the audiences they appeal to, but you will also have the opportunity to create some of these products. This is a subject that relies on discussion, teamwork and creativity.

If you want to open your eyes to the world around you, then this is the subject for you!
