Celebrated Poet!

Shenee Nicholls a student in year 8 at Childwall Sports College was delighted to be recognised for her ability to write poetry. Shenees work was entered for the Citywide ’Poetry of Place Awards’ 2009. Shenee under the guidance of her English Teacher Mrs Gambegela wrote about ‘The River Mersey’. Such was the quality of Shenees work that she was delighted to have been chosen as a finalist in the Citywide Competition. Shenee is a talented all round student at Childwall Sports College and was delighted to be able to attend this ceremony held at St Georges Hall recently where her work was highly commended.
