Success at the Science Olympics!

Four of our Year 10 students have reached the final of the Merseyside Science Olympics. The team, led by Mrs Lynam, included Ryan Kelly, Adam Manley, Adam Hitchmough and Zack Trivedi. The latest heats of the Aimhigher Science Olympics took place on 16th January with schools from Liverpool taking part in a day long series of events, competing against each other for the chance to win through to the grand finals later in the year.

The school visited the Department of Physics at the University of Liverpool to take part in a range of events that tested their science knowledge, team working and communication skills as they worked to achieve the highest scores on the day.
