TV documentary - Brazil's expanding cities

Pupils in Year 9 prepare a TV documentary about the problems and pressures faced in Brazil due to rural-to-urban migration. In the TV documentaries pupils were asked to speak about the following: The Causes (Why are cities growing?), the problems (What problem does this cause?) and the solutions (Will it get worse or better and what are possible solutions). Pupils showed a range of skills including researching, use of ICT, presentation skills and produced outstanding TV documentaries which were recorded and a DVD produced. Congratulations to the pupils in 9B1 and 9A1.
