RoboCup Junior UK Finals
On Saturday 6th March 2010 Mr Fyfe and Mrs Mather took a group of Yr7 ICT pupils to compete in the RoboCup Junior UK Finals at Prenton Girls School – Wirral. Our pupils had to build and program a Lego robot to use a selection of sensors to play soccer with an infrared emitting ball.
Following some tough competition our team successfully managed to get into the semi final of the competition only to get knocked out at the last moment. The Childwall robotics team finished 3rd in the competition.
