Duke of Edinburgh

Childwall Sports College is delighted that a group of year 13 students has successfully completed the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. Students will be receiving their awards at Buckingham Palace sometime in the course of summer 2010.

Some of the younger students at Childwall have recently commenced the Bronze Award and their first walk and residential took place recently led by Mr. Cheetham, Mr. Breen, Mr. Hurd, Miss. Saxon and Mr. O’Leary. The year 9 students’s thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working together for the weekend and are committed to completing all levels of the prestigious award.
