Pupils in Y8 were treated to a ‘meet and greet’ with a true Everton legend, Graeme Sharp. Graeme had heard about the pupils’ work with ‘Terriers’, an anti-gun crime play, and wanted to get their opinions on the matter. Along with representatives from Merseyside Police and Liverpool Unites, Graeme discussed the pupils’ work and their attitude to the complex social issues the play portrays.
Graeme was delighted with the pupils’ comments and praised the English Department’s work on the topic. Some of the pupils were also interviewed by a reporter from the Liverpool Echo and, as always, they were outstanding. A truly enjoyable experience was had by all involved.
