Duke of Edinburgh

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is well established at Childwall Sports College and the first group of Gold winners will be receiving their awards in London in 2010. Youngsters in year 9 commence the programme and recently a group of youngsters pursuing the silver award embarked on the five day residential in Wales. Students were led by Mr Cheetham and Miss Cooke. The group was looking forward to some excellent weather and many miles of walking in the welsh hills.
