Visit of Frank Cottrell Boyce

Recently the famous author Frank Cottrell Boyce visited Childwall Sports College to do some work with students in year 8 and 9. Mr Boyce spent time reading from his novels in addition to encouraging the students to produce their own writing. Students were delighted to have the opportunity to work with Frank Cottrell Boyce and were hugely encouraged to produce their own high quality writing.

All students at Childwall Sports College are encouraged to read and write extensively. Literacy is at the heart of the schools mission to ensure that all students are able to access the curriculum at all points.
