Throughout this academic year all of the Health & Social Care and Society, Health and Development (SHD) groups have been on a variety of visits across the city and we have invited speakers in to give talks and presentations to the classes.
SHD yr13 learners were invited by Skills for Health, to record a video diary of their day-to-day experiences on the Diploma. These are now hosted on their website. The learners were presented with certificates and vouchers for their hard work.
Society, Health and Development Diploma is taught off-site. At KS4 the learners have been taught at Broadgreen International School and Alsop High School. At KS5 the learners are taught in Alder Hey Hospital in their purpose designed SHD Suite.
