Brazilian and Rainforest Project

As part of a Geography unit of work completed by Miss Mc Nally and Miss Alecock, the pupils in Key stage 3 were involved in a painting project where a Brazilian rainforest and the skyline of Rio de Janeiro were painted. This was to develop the pupil’s knowledge of the Tropical rainforest and of Brazil.

On Wednesday the 12th of November the rainforest corridor and the favela paintings were officially opening by Councillor Warren Bradley. During this evening the pupils entertained the congregation with a carnival themed evening full of music and entertainment. Many thanks to Mr Tyrer (art teacher), Mr Collett and the Liverpool Batala Community Samba Band for helping with this project.
