RSC Christmas Schools Lecture

On the 6th December I had the pleasure of accompanying my Year 9 Science group to Liverpool University for the RSC Christmas Schools Lecture.

The light-hearted lecture dealt with the important issue of energy changes in chemical reactions and was illustrated throughout with colourful demonstrations. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the lecture and put their knowledge to good use answering a number of questions asked by Dr Aspinall during the lecture.

Pupils were immaculately behaved through out the lecture and were a credit to themselves and the school.
