8B4 English Boldly Go Trekking!

On the afternoon of Tuesday, 16th December, 8B4 went on a pony trek at Croxteth Park. Everyone was very excited as, for most of the pupils, this was the first time they had been riding. The ponies were all delightful and the staff were very kind and helpful. The park was at its wintry best. Although the pupils were a little nervous at first they soon gained in confidence and even trotted on a number of occasions, although it was hard work for the staff as we had to run alongside the ponies!

Well we are a sports college after all! The pupils have all written thank-you letters to Viv and the rest of the girls at the riding centre. Copies of these will appear as part of a display that the group is working on with Miss Score. Watch the boards outside F13. Many thanks to Mr and Miss Donnelly who also assisted on the trip.
