Success at the RSC Analytical Competition

May 2009

In May 2009 Childwall Sports College’s Year 12 team won the prestigious RSC Analytical competition. Sean Walsh, Kimberley Wareing and Thembe Moyo took part in the competition with Sean gaining first place in the first heat. The team overall were placed third and indeed were the only Year 12 in the entire competition which comprised schools from the Northwest of England. Many congratulations. The team was coached by Dr. Latifa Youssef.

Year 10

Seven of our eight Year 10 students who applied for the prestigious Liverpool University summer school in Science this July have been successful in their applications. Further details to follow.

Kimberley Wareing

Childwall Sports College is delighted to announce that Kimberley Wareing, a Year 12 student at Childwall, has been successful in receiving the highly significant Nuffield Science Bursary for 2009. Many congratulations to Kimberley.
