Advanced Level Results 2008

Very many congratulations to all our Year 13 students for their excellent results in the 'A' Level examinations for 2008. We were delighted to find so many of our able students succeeding and going on to Further/Higher Education. Very well done.

Childwall Sports College best ever GCSE results 2008

• The overall figure for 5 GCSE A*-C rose by 8% between 2007 and 2008.
• The figure for 5 A-C including English and Maths rose by a superb 14% between 2007 and 2008.

The school policy on examination entry is that all students will be entered for an examination in each subject they have studied.

At the end of Key stage 3 all students will sit SATS exams.

At the end of year 11, students may, depending on their abilities, be entered for GCSE examinations at an appropriate level or an alternative certificate.

After one year in the Sixth Form, students may be entered for the AS Level followed by the A2 Advanced Level of the General Certificate of Education the following year.

• No Ipods
• No mp3 players
• No Pagers or any other Products with text /digital facilities

Possession of unauthorised items is an infringement of the Regulations and could result in disqualification from the current examination and the overall qualification.

Candidates are advised that mobile phones in particular must not be in their possession whether or not switched on.
