Best Ever GCSE Results!

All staff and students are delighted at the GCSE results of 2009. The school once again exceeded its targets for 5 A* to C. In 2009 the target was bettered by a massive 5 percentage points and the score for English and mathematics also showed a continued improvement with the 2008 being improved upon. 63% of all the year 11 students at Childwall Sports College achieved 5 or more grades at A* to C in 2009. There were a number of outstanding individual results with many students achieving the highest grade i.e. A*.
