On Tuesday 1st March 2011 Childwall Sports and Science College was awarded ‘Lead Practice in G&T provision’ status from National Strategies/SSAT. This is a phenomenal achievement for the school as we are only 1 of 2 schools in the Authority to hold this prestigious award. The Inspector commented that:

‘’The development of G&T as a mainstream embedded aspect of school improvement is a key feature of your successful validation, and will be of interest to local schools who wish to learn more about effective G&T provision. The rapid progress the school has made on a range of fronts is a credit to all the staff and pupils who worked so hard over recent years, but especially a testament to your strong leadership and collaboration. We in the NS team are all delighted for you. Well done and congratulations.’’
