Year 9 News
Since Christmas Year 9 have been totally focused on preparation for their SATS exams. The Mock SATS successfully took place in early March with some fantastic results. Throught April the English, Maths and Science departments have been offering numerous opportunities out of curriculum time to assist with revision and exam preparation. These opportunities have included a visit by the theatre company Shakespeare4kidz who gave all students a 'hands on' revision guide, thanks to Ms Conway & Mrs Stephens for organising this. English and Science have also put on revision sessions 2/3 times a week to focus on certain aspects of exam preparation. Maths ensured they had Staff in the LRC from Tuesday to Thursday after school to assist pupils with homework & revision on the mymaths website. Lets hope that all this hard work and effort pays off!
Miss Tomlinson
(Thank you to all the English, Maths and Science staff who have given up their time to deliver these opportunities)
