The Diploma in Engineering is a new and different way of learning about the world of engineering. It will give you the right skills to start a career in engineering or go on to A levels and other training.
Engineering is finding smart ways to solve problems, so that life is better, easier and more enjoyable for ourselves, for people around the world, for the planet and for the environment. This problem solving requires a reasonable ability in maths.
Engineers work in health, entertainment, transport, construction, robotics, conservation, design, communications, disaster relief, in fact pretty much everywhere. Engineering offers a great choice of careers.

There’s work experience as well, where you work with and learn from professionals. You will spend 2 days each week on the Diploma; one of the days will be in college.
The Engineering Diploma is equivalent to 7 GCSEs at grades A* to C
After completing the Diploma you can do other more advanced Diploma levels, A Levels, a job, an apprenticeship, or other training.
