Travel / Leisure and Tourism are vocational subjects, which are available to students in Year 10/11 and in the sixth form. Advanced level and Intermediate courses are very popular. We have many external speakers and visits out of school. Last academic year we visited Amsterdam and New York.

6th Form Travel & Tourism students were given a talk by representatives from the Radisson SAS Hotel and a Springboard Project Delivery Manager. The talk informed our students about local careers and job opportunities. The Sales manager from the Radisson Hotel shared her own experiences of working within the industry, even offering the students a possible work placement at the hotel. Students were given careers advice and guidance and told about the varied opportunities in this challenging and stimulating industry.
