Clothing and Equipment

The immediate impression made by students of any school is by general conduct and appearance.

We hope to foster in our students a pride in their school and in their appearance and we would therefore ask for full co-operation of parents / carers as regards school uniform.

A full list of School Uniform is given to all prospective pupils. Copies are always available from the School Offices.

School Uniform - Girls

• Plain navy blue skirt or black tailored trousers
• Navy blue V-necked pullover with Sports College logo
• Pale blue or white blouse
• School tie
• Black blazer with School badge (compulsory all years)
• White or navy blue socks (black tights allowed in winter)
• Black shoes

School Uniform - Boys

• Dark grey or black trousers (Jeans or cords NOT allowed)
• Navy blue V-neck pullover with Sports College logo
• Pale blue or white shirt
• School tie
• Black blazer with School badge (compulsory all years)
• Black socks
• Black shoes

School P.E. Kit - Girls

• Navy blue games skirt or shorts
• Pale blue polo shirt with logo
• Training shoes
• Navy blue socks
• Navy blue tracksuit bottoms
• Sports College sweatshirt

School P.E. Kit - Boys

• Navy blue shorts
• Navy blue polo shirt with logo
• Training shoes
• Navy blue socks
• Football boots
• Navy blue tracksuit bottoms

Parents / carers will know that we strongly advise all children at Childwall not to bring expensive items to school. We have no insurance cover for any items lost or stolen whilst in school. Any losses would have to be borne by the parents / carers. It may be advisable for parents / carers to check their own personal insurance arrangements.

As regards jewellery, the school rule is no jewellery except for one pair of stud earrings. If your child breaks this rule then the jewellery will be confiscated for safekeeping and returned on the last day of the half term. If a parent wishes to collect the jewellery then they should telephone the school.
