Dear Parents and Carers

We are delighted to be able to announce that following the Ofsted Inspection of Childwall Sports College on 4th/5th March 2009 Inspectors judged the school to be “… Good with a number of outstanding features”. Inspectors have praised the school’s curriculum, care guidance and support, community cohesion, standards, learning and teaching in addition to leadership and management.

The school was especially commended for the support given to all students and the superb relationships between all members of the Childwall Sports College community were noted by Inspectors. The full report will be available and posted on the website by the week beginning Monday, 16th March 2009.

We are also delighted to be able to confirm that as of September 2009 we are oversubscribed which means that we have a waiting list for places in Year 7. Parents of those students joining us in September will be delighted that Ofsted has confirmed the ‘outstanding features’ at Childwall Sports College.
